ABOUT NEIL

I'm Neil Cohen and I'm 62 years old. I've been a practicing dentist for 30 years here in Maryland. I live in Potomac with my wife Arlene. Arlene and I have one son, Sander, who is a Maryland Deputy State Fire Marshal.


When my family came to America two generations ago from Eastern Europe we believed in hard work and the pursuit of opportunity. I still do. Throughout my life I have worked hard to succeed. I have worked as a janitor, a short order cook and a U.A.W assembly-line worker.

I worked my way through school where I was president of the Temple Univ. College of Liberal Arts Student Association and I graduated from Howard University in 1977 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

As a dentist and small business owner in Chevy Chase and Deale, Maryland for three decades I have experienced the painful impact of greater government intrusion into the private sector.

As a citizen I have watched as the political divisiveness in Washington D.C. has led to bad government and wasteful tax spending under both Republicans and Democrats.
